I’ve been reading Through the Bible, through the Year by John Stott. It’s a daily devotional that takes you through the Church Calendar and the storyline of Salvation History found in the Word of God. I’m on week 10, where he takes a break from the storyline (just as Israel has gone into exile) to share a bit about the Wisdom literature. Today, he wrote about Ecclesiastes. I thought the quote was really powerful, and thought I would share.
