I left Bolivia one year and a day ago. Haven’t frankly had much to say that entire time. Don’t really know why; I was, for the bulk of that time, an interim assistant chaplain at an Episcopal School. Had a lot of fun. Developed a lot of strong opinions. Aside from that… Joined a new church which worships using old hymns sung to funk and jazz tunes. Found a new community group. Lived as the worship side-kick for the first time in years. Rejoined a culture that is now both mine and still rather alien to me. So much to write about. Too much? Dunno. I was in a bit of a daze for the majority of these 366 days.
But maybe, just maybe, it might be time to get back to journaling about songwriting and worship (even if, for a while, I probably have such a small readership that it will feel like a journal).
Might even try to write a song soon…
