Are you alive and well Oh Gran Pescador de Almas?

Oh, yeah! Sure. Doin’ real well! Been in Bolivia for the past two years, teaching English and Music. How’d ya find me? Aw heck… I’m just gonna email ya! So glad you popped in to comment. Have you had a chance to listen to any of my songs?

Just the CD you sent awhile ago. Still listen to it and reminesce. I’m slinging the español at my alma mater. Found you via some recollection you lived in NC (going through D town in a few days) then remembered music ministry, Pescador, and an inspiration/ spiritual kick to the posterior by the HS to get a hold of you.

I’m glad you got the CD. The word “CD” seems so quaint, aye? I’m glad the Holy Spirit felt like kicking you, old pal! Now, by D town, do you mean Davidson, NC? Yeah, that’s where we lived. Lovely town. If you really are going through there, while driving down Main St. (Hwy 115), right across from the Davidson Library, you will see a little place called the Soda Shop. Go and eat there, but take cash, b/c they don’t take credit cards! What’s taking you to NC? You’re teaching at the school you graduated from? What school? Why does Arcanum ring a bell? I bet I’m totally off! Do tell…

You? Off? Surely you jest. Wait..is your name Shirley?
My parents live on Jekyll Island and I like to go though Davidson on the way. Beautiful drive. Love the town.
I went to Sidney which is where I teach going on 5 years now.

Come, Worship with Me by Ruth Boling
I also read to my children regularly from Hinds Feet on High Places. Remember? There is a grand insription by an up and coming musician named Fisher.
BTW: I may be in the Davidson area for worship Sunday morning. Any suggestions?

Ah, yes. Great book. Wonderful!
That’s great about “Hind Feet”. I remember your walk and giving you that book…
Funny. We have another Tom at the school, and so now all most of my friends call me is “Fisher”. I like it.
I would recommend my old church! Church of the Good Shepherd. http://www.tcotgs.org/place-time/ Let me know if you need help with the directions!
